MIT Crew has welcomed the HOCR River Control Committee to use its boathouse as a base for logistics, safety and emergency operations for many years. The address of the Pierce Boathouse is 406 Memorial Dr, Cambridge, MA 02139.

First and foremost, HOCR staff and volunteers, USRA staff, Emergency Medical, Law Enforcement, Security Personnel and others involved with the HOCR are guests of MIT’s Pierce Boathouse. In this capacity, please treat the MIT facilities and personnel with the utmost respect and to the level you would expect for yourself or your property. We are all here to work together and have some fun.

Dock Usage

MIT permits the use of the solid dock on the Boston side for HOCR boats. Loading, unloading and short-term berthing is permitted along the solid dock as indicated. The floating docks are reserved for MIT shells and emergency shell docking only.

Launches

All launches will be borrowed; please treat them like your own. You will be provided a trash bag to collect trash. In addition, if you notice something wrong with the launch, please notify the MIT Coordinator, who will contact the Launch Committee.
